The Emily Metal Bed is constructed from steel with an epoxy powder-coated finish in Black or Cream. Black creates a defined outline against lighter bedding and walls, whilst Cream offers a softer look that complements pale colours and traditional bedroom furniture.

A gently curved top rail gives the Emily Metal Bed its distinctive headboard shape. Slender vertical bars and decorative finials introduce traditional detail, whilst the open metalwork allows the wall behind to remain visible rather than creating a solid backdrop.

Straight side rails connect the headboard to a matching high foot end, continuing the curved rails, vertical bars and decorative finials. This coordinated design frames the bedding at both ends, giving the bed a balanced appearance with a clearly defined traditional character.

Sprung wooden slats support the mattress across the frame. Their gentle curve allows them to flex under weight and respond as you move during the night, whilst the spaces between the slats help air circulate beneath the mattress.

Available in 3'0'' Single, 4'0'' Small Double and 4'6'' Double, the Emily Metal Bed requires a standard UK mattress in the corresponding size. This allows you to choose your preferred mattress type and firmness separately. Mattress not included.

The Small Double and Double sizes incorporate a central support rail and additional legs beneath the mattress platform. The maximum recommended weight load is 100kg for the Single and 250kg for the Small Double and Double sizes.

The Emily Metal Bed is supplied flat-packed with assembly instructions and the necessary fittings. Two adults should assemble the frame in the room where it will be used, carefully following the instructions provided. Suitable protection should be placed beneath all legs on non-carpeted floors to prevent movement.
